Owl Necklace

My take on the owl of Athena - a symbol of wisdom. Athena represents many things: wisdom and insight, courage and crafts, law and justice, love and beauty. She is a goddess of war, but specifically the intelligent planning, tactical and strategic aspect of battles. She aides travelers in their journeys. And, she's often associated with the owl.

I drew this version of Athena's owl and had it made into a wax seal stamp, which was then used on precious metal clay to create the pendant. This necklace would make a great gift for a student, grad, traveler, or a someone who simply loves owls! Pendant measures approximately 5/8" across.
